With a passion for feeding the community, farming hard and in memory of our dear friend Robby, Rootin Tootin Acres was born.
Hello!
Welcome to Rootin Tootin Acres! Nestled in the heart of Tinmouth, where my husband Alex and Iās, journey began in fall 2021 after returning from the Pacific Northwest. Our time in Portland, OR brought our passions to life - from throwing intimate parties to running both a restaurant and a farm. Now, we're bringing this blend of food, farming, and hospitality back home to Vermont!
Our passion lies in cultivating vibrant, sustainable, pesticide-free flowers + produce that bring natural, delicious and local beauty to your homes and special events. We raise heritage breed pigs, pasture raised chickens and have a big flock of beautiful hens roaming freely about the farm. At the core of our farming practices is a deep commitment to nurturing healthy soil, happy animals, and thriving crops. We're constantly learning and evolving, embracing regenerative practices that help us grow food in harmony with nature. Our goal is simple: to provide our community with sustainable, delicious, and beautiful farm-grown goods that you can feel good about!
When we're not hands deep in the soil or tending to our animals, our true joy comes from gathering people around our table. We turn our fields into magical dining rooms under open skies, where the gardens that surround our guests, make its way onto their plates. After a soul-filling season of hosting pop-up dinners with local chefs, we're thrilled to put down deeper roots in hospitality with RTA Kitchen, led by our beloved friend and culinary artist Mary Sallah. Here, every meal tells the story of our land, and every gathering turns strangers into friends bound by the shared experience of farm-to-table dining at its most authentic.
Rootin Tootin comes to life after my best friend Robby who left us in 2019. Robby was one of those people that once you met him you never forgot him. From farming in Honduras, at the Interval Farm in Vermont and in Northern California, to snowboarding and traveling around the world, Robby always left a lasting impression. I was lucky enough to get to grow up with Robby, to move out to California with him and enjoy everything in between together. We always talked about moving back to VT and starting our farm together - so Rob this ones for you buddy!
